Drowning? Yes, but in a good way!

Now that we've got the digital download all ready and selling well...the next task was to get together and order the proof copy of the paperback version of Non-Toxic Networking.

I took care of that last week and received the proof in the mail on Saturday.

Let me tell you something - if you have been considering publishing a book but haven't gotten around to it yet, holding a physical book in your hands is one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had.

Smelling that book, knowing you did that - it's a heady feeling.

Of course, now I have to edit the book and fix a few things before approving the proof. That is the scary part, and I can't do it while I'm home alone with the toddlers because it's going to be really tedious detail work.

So I have to decide when that will get done. I'm hoping that Randy can take the kids out into the backyard this evening when he gets home from work. That should give me the peace and quiet I need to get it done. I shouldn't need more than an hour or two.

What still needs to be done:
- Add gutter margins to the book
- Add the UPC code to the back cover (this has been done, I'm just debating if I should add the book price to the UPC code)
- Add "Marketing Curve Press" and the logo to the spine as well as the back cover of the book next to the UPC code.
