Do you ever wonder if you're supposed to be networking on holidays or just taking the day off?
It depends.
Easter dinner can be a great time to remind your family what you're looking for. A better job, more clients, etc. Many people think family can't help them unless they directly "know someone" but that's not always the case!
If you tell your mom the kind of job she's looking for, and your mom talks to the woman behind the deli at the supermarket, and the deli worker's husband knows someone...well I hope your mom has your card to pass over.
It sounds far fetched, but things like this happen *all the time* - think about how you got your last job or your last significant other. Was it an easy, boring story? Probably not. Many things in our lives, when we look back on them, seem complex and amazing. You may even find yourself wondering, "How did that ever even happen??"
Rely on the power of coincidence. The joy that comes from getting yourself out there so much that coincidence just keeps happening to you. People will think you're the luckiest person on earth.
Maybe you are.
